Elegance and charm surround this freshly renovated primary bathroom. The original floor plan was a narrow passageway where its various components (i.e., toilet, shower, sinks and tub) were all in a single line. The space lacked function and harmony, and the clients longed for a space appropriate to their 1912 Tudor home that would exude style, warmth and a spa-like atmosphere.
To accomplish this vision, the firm designed a large, bespoke premium alder vanity as the focal point. Its reeded style offers modern appeal while the drawers provide much-needed storage. To ensure it could be successfully brought up a narrow set of stairs within the vintage home, the team designed the vanity as two separate pieces. To create a strong and inconspicuous joint, they designed the right side of the vanity to overlap the left. The result is a beautiful, seamless look that the clients love.
