Partnering with clients, architects and builders leads to success
Denise Jones launched her own business, J2 Design Studio, located in Bedminster, NJ, in 2011, and successfully positioned herself to acquire a kitchen and bath entity in 2018. The acquisition was strategic and placed her in the planning conversation where she could be most effective alongside client, architect and builder.
She prides herself on her creativity, resourcefulness and ability to interpret her clients’ goals and communicate them effectively, orchestrating projects in collaboration with architects and builders, to execute a unified vision. Jones attributes a majority of her success to these great partnerships.
She holds an ASID NJ Chapter Design Excellence Bronze award in the residential large kitchen over 150 square feet category as well as an ASID NJ Chapter Design Excellence Gold award in the commercial several spaces under 10,000 square feet category. She also received a Gold Award for a kitchen design from kitchen cabinet manufacturer Candlelight Cabinetry.
Jones has held leadership positions in local chapter organizations and enjoyed heading the successful collaboration with design students on rebranding and launching the new organization magazine, Blueprint.
