Leadership and rebranding leads to significant company growth
Jessica Hannesson is known for her trademark style of creating timeless, textured and lived-in designs that feel like home. As the founder, CEO and creative director of Hannesson Home Interiors, a full-service interior design firm based in Billings, MT, her award-winning talent and thoughtful, inspired approach to design have earned the firm residential and commercial projects throughout the U.S.
Hannesson graduated from Montana State University in 2013 with a degree in Interior Design and followed with a move to Billings to manage The Cabinet Center, a start-up kitchen and bath firm. Under her leadership, the firm saw a 200% increase in revenue her first year. Revenue doubled in the subsequent two years and continued to grow in each year under her management.
In 2019, she purchased The Cabinet Center and rebranded it Hannesson Home, positioning the company to grow its market share in the mid- and high-end kitchen and bath markets while solidifying its hold on the low- to mid-end markets. She expanded the firm’s capabilities and added full-scale interior design as well as a retail store that offers home accessories and the capacity to build cabinets intended for real estate developers in the multifamily space.
Hannesson was the 2023 runner up for the KBB Person of the Year, and her diverse accomplishments have been published in numerous magazines and earned her recognition as a finalist nominee for the NKBA/KBIS Person of the Year.
