Renovation, fabrication and teaching are among the talents this designer shares
Paulina Hospod was introduced to the world of design and construction early in her career when, before finishing her degree, she was hired by the construction company where her father worked. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design, she continued in the Pratt Institute graduate program in architecture, finishing with a master’s degree. During that time, she became a project manager responsible for high-end residential renovations.
Now a principal at AhA Interiors Corp. in Richmond Hill, NY, Hospod is sharing her many talents with the design world. In addition to running successful renovation projects and locally fabricating all millwork and cabinetry for her firm for the last 12 years, she is a certified professional member of both the Interior Design Society and the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Hospod is also an instructor at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she teaches Professional Practice in Interior Design to seniors. She is dedicated to passing down her expertise and experience in managing a successful design and build practice to her students and other members of the industry.
When not designing, she loves to take her two rescue dogs to the Catskills where she co owns a log home on over seven acres of land in the woods. She also loves New York City for its culinary variety as she is a passionate restaurant goer and foodie.
