Dancer turned designer delivers kitchens and baths with personal style
Initially pursuing a career in dance, Jaime Simpson began her journey by earning a bachelor of science degree in Ballet and Psychology. Following an injury, Simpson transitioned to interior design, rekindling her passion for design while obtaining an associate of applied science degree in Interior Design in Chicago. Specializing in kitchen and bath design, she gained extensive knowledge through her experience working in cabinetry and tile showrooms in Chicago and the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
While dedicating 20 years to the design industry, she worked on multi-family housing projects, designing kitchens and bathrooms for numerous apartment complexes. Additionally, she collaborated closely with a custom home builder for five years, designing the kitchens and bathrooms for many custom homes.
In 2019, Simpson founded Creative + Curated in Norfolk, VA, where she is not only owner but designer and director. Offering innovative residential design services, through her company she has worked with clients on a variety of kitchen and bathroom projects, tailoring each design to enhance functionality and reflect the homeowner’s style. She is dedicated to helping her clients create a space that functions best for those living in the home, and delivers the style that makes them feel most at home.
