Detail-oriented mindset leads to career as kitchen and bath designer
As Rochester, Minnesota’s only Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Kailee Klevan’s goal is to guide clients through the design process in a way that will put them at ease. The lead designer for Beyond Kitchens reassures her customers that she will take care of all the nitty-gritty details and that their project will be everything they have been dreaming of.
Klevan graduated with her degree in Interior Design in 2015 from an NKBA-accredited program. Due to her detailed mindset, she knew she wanted to go into kitchen and bath design.
Winning a 2020 Design award in 2016 only fueled that desire and kickstarted her career, introducing her to well-known industry professionals. She was honored to be a part of NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2018, where she was recognized nationally at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show and had the opportunity to network with designers from all over the country.
Her designs have won eight awards in the Minnesota State NKBA Design Competition, with awards coming from the Midwest Home Design Awards and Chrysalis competition. In addition to her award-winning designs, she has been featured in Midwest Home and Kitchen & Bath Business magazines on multiple occasions, sharing her work and designer knowledge.
