Dramatic Appeal

Allison Fannin
Two Thirty Five Designs, Lubbock, TX
The desire for this Lubbock, TX home was to create a master bathroom that would match the style of this modern, mission style home with bold elements. Designer Allison Fannin achieved this by mixing metals, bringing in different textures and finishes and adding pops of color.
The whole-home project was only halfway completed when the COVID-19 lockdown occurred, which posed a major challenge for the designer as the Parade of Homes that the project was a part of was still taking place. So, regardless of delays and obstacles, the home needed to be completed on time.
The highlight of the space is the two-tone tub from MTI Baths that sits in a cradle. Fannin knew that she wanted a floating tub, and installing the wood flooring beneath gave it that look.
The custom cabinetry features Emtek hardware, Onyx Mont Blanc countertop, MTI Baths sloped sink and bridge faucet from Rohl. Shower tiles are Soci Calacatta polished and hexagon, and Soci Dover pattern Cicero Blend. A DXV toilet and Rohl shower fittings finish the space.
