As the rest of this Birmingham, MI home had seen beautification from the designers at Maison Birmingham and Meg Corley of Meg Corley Interiors over the past few years, the homeowners decided the powder bath adjacent to the formal living room could also use a facelift. At a mere 57 square feet with a curved wall, the powder room did not have much space in which to convey the same elegance and sophistication as the rest of the home, so the design team endeavored to make every detail count. 

In order to harmonize with the curvature of the wall, intricate wainscoting with a textured wallcovering inlay and cord trim was selected. Additionally, the curve of the reeded white oak vanity calls back to the room’s shape while providing a rich, elevated look. Details such as a sink drain sculpted in brass and mother of pearl further the sumptuous yet formal aesthetic.
