Billiards Break

Just one of a whopping eight baths in a 9,850-sq.-ft. new-build vacation home in Scottsdale, AZ, this powder room is set adjacent to the billiards room. Because the powder room, which was designed by Klosterman and co-designer Michelle Jefferson, sees frequent use during “guys’ night” pool games and hangouts, this necessitated an elevated masculine aesthetic to really bring the Rat Pack vibe.
The vanity wall is sheathed in cold rolled steel paneling, flanked by V-groove walnut paneling that recesses into the walnut ceiling. (Of note: since this V-groove paneling preceded the grooved trend that has appeared in the last year, a local fabricator created custom knives to achieve the effect!) The vanity itself features custom cabinetry by Cutting Edge Woodworking, and the Capolavoro leathered granite countertop by Stone Collection is topped with a semi-recessed Kohler sink and wall-mount Graff faucet.
Furthering the sexy, moody ambiance of the space is programmable pendant lighting, as well as a distinctive black toilet and urinal from Kohler.
