Asian Influence

Much of this homeowner’s career has included travel in Asia, and those trips were the inspiration for this 134-sq.-ft. bathroom remodel in Vancouver, WA. The deep green tile elements and Chinese lattice design, as well as the marble mosaic, were the driving force behind the design.
A combination of limited natural light and rich color on the lower walls were balanced with the use of light-colored walls and flooring, as well as well-placed lighting throughout the room, including two wall-mounted lights by Visual Comfort. The vanity is natural walnut from Signature Custom Cabinets, with Kohler Caxton undermount sink in White, and Silestone by Cosentino Eternal Et Calacatta Gold quartz countertop and shower bench. The Henry wall-mount faucet from Waterworks in Burnished Brass – which coordinates with the shower fittings – will patina over time.
The floor and shower pan are Morningside Heights Square Green 11″x12-5/8″ mosaic by Artistic Tile, and the shower walls and wainscot are from Pratt and Larson in a rich green. The deco lattice in the shower is also from Pratt and Larson.
Accessories from California Faucets and CR Laurence, as well as an Icera Muse toilet and Jaclo bidet, are also featured.
