Their fascinating home features unique doors that are designed to have hidden hinges that blend seamlessly into the walls, and the powder room is no exception.

The drama begins at the floor, which is the same wide-plank European oak as the hall, but wire-brushed with gold leaf accents, calling back to the gold detailing on the ceiling and walls. A honed granite wall-mounted vanity and sink features sumptuous curves that echo the elaborate gold-framed mirror. This in turn is reflected in the laser-cut valance that crowns the privacy drapery, which unzips at knee-height for ease of cleaning.
