The clients initially wished to upgrade the fixtures in their ensuite bathroom and increase the footprint of the space, as it was too small to serve as the primary bath. But, in the end, they opted for a larger renovation. The team tore out the existing bathroom, leveled the sub-floor, and added a double vanity, new toilet, and built-in shower. The new design required the team to reduce the number of doors on the main access wall of the primary bathroom and replace the remaining one with a pocket door. The team also removed an undersized bedroom on the same floor to make enough space for the bathroom’s increased size. The team finished the bathroom with a modern color palette.
