From design leaders to creative educators, this year’s group of Innovators delivers significant support to members of the kitchen and bath design industry.
KBDN has selected its eighth class of Innovators, a group that includes industry professionals who have excelled in the areas of design, education and mentoring and who have advanced the kitchen and bath design industry.
The selection of the class of 2024 Innovators by Kitchen & Bath Design News was a process that included the review of interior design acumen, service to customers and connection to the community and the industry. Many have served as leaders not only in their businesses but on industry-related boards and associations that play an influential role in the design market. Through mentoring, educational courses, webinars, podcasts and blogs, they reach out to others in the industry, sharing stories and strategies that advance the business and creativity of design. Their connection to peers as well as the communities they serve is key to their success.
As the industry continues to recover from the challenges of COVID and the at-first stalled and then frenzied aftermath of the pandemic, these professionals have held fast, setting a course and fulfilling the needs of their industry. They have a clear plan for addressing the uncertain future, and act as anchors for other designers and industry members to weather any emerging storms.
Members of the 2024 class of Innovators are active members of professional organizations such as the National Kitchen & Bath Association, the American Society of Interior Designers and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. They are presenters at seminars, mentors of those entering the field and leaders of their local chapters. And when it comes to their businesses and clients, they venture beyond their comfort zones to deliver the best in design, as noted in their multiple awards and selection for design coverage in shelter magazines and other related media.
KBDN honors industry leaders through the naming of its Innovators each year. This group of industry professionals, who are setting the standard for excellence in the design industry, are nominated by their peers and reviewed by the nominating committee. The 2024 class of Innovators includes 28 individuals who represent a cross-section of the design industry. KBDN invites you to learn more about them below.
